Approximately 60% alpaca on a 40% cotton base for strength.

Beautifully soft and light-weight, these alpaca blankets and throws are warmer than their wool equivalents. Easy to care for, they can be machine-washed on a delicate cycle with hair shampoo instead of detergent, with an optional tablespoon of white vinegar for the rinse to plump fibre. Do NOT use wool wash.

Double Bed blankets fit a single or double bed length-wise, or if used across the width of the bed starting under the pillows, even a queen or king bed. Blankets are also often used as snuggle blankets on the couch.

Throws are also often used as snuggle throws on the couch, but other uses include travel blankets – weight is only 365 grams – and kids blankets.
